According to the international quality guarantee standard GB/T19001:2000-ISO9001:2000 , we have built a recognised quality assurance system. This means we can deliver reliable products to our customers.

At our plant, GRINDSTED® cellulose gum (CMC) is checked according the latest technologies (various types of viscosimeters, spectrographs etc.). The quality team works closely with the research department in Denmark.

Our technology and organisation, combined with the expertise of our quality and production teams, allow us to meet the strictest demands of our domestic and export customers.

Sustainability
The goal of sustainable development is to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

Our commitment to sustainability is integral to our vision as the leading supplier of value-adding ingredients to the global food industry and requires that we prove to our stakeholders that we are a responsible company.

Cellulose gum regulatory status
Our GRINDSTED® cellulose gum (CMC) is produced to meet food and pharmaceutical legislation. Highly purified CG (min. 99.5% purity) produced by Danisco meets the FDA, FCC, FAO/WHO and EU regulation.

In the US, cellulose gum is listed as “GRAS” (Generally Recognized As Safe). In Europe, cellulose gum is listed as an approved food additive (“Quantum satis”) in the EU Directive 95/2.
